i found myself unexpectedly in canada in late january to say goodbye to my grandmother. (i've been saying goodbye to her as if it's the last time i'll see her every time i leave canada but i still felt compelled to come back and say goodbye one last time. it was also great to be able to support the parents as they worked through the loss.) granny was 93 years old - she lived a full life and saw so many significant changes in her lifetime. i have many good memories of her and my grandfather which i will cherish. i know she'll be missed however it was definitely her time to go. you're in my thoughts, granny
